I'm grateful to Poets & Writers magazine for publishing "Finding Shelter: Love Stories From the Book Tour" in its March/April 2026 issue. The essay describes my desire to hear others' stories of disaster and refuge during my 2025 Shelter and Storm book tour--and how my quest led to an anthology about stories of shelter, storm--and love.
