In this Sprouts radio show, originally aired on August 19, 2026, inspiring Minneapolis writer and community leader Carolyn Holbrook talks with me about how writing can help us heal.

Listen here.

Holbrook is the author of a memoir in essays, Tell Me Your Names and I Will Testify. She has received many honors, including a McKnight Distinguished Artist Award in 2025. She's a writing mentor and a community leader who has founded and managed literary arts organizations, including More Than a Single Story, whose mission is to position the literary arts as a catalyst for cross-cultural healing, understanding, and social justice.
